ACADEMIC PROGRAM


1. Curriculum
The curriculum applied at SEMESTA Bilingual Boarding School is a combination of the curriculum of Indonesia's Ministry of National Education and the International curriculum this has been proven of its effectiveness at all Pasiad Schools in Indonesia.

2. Formal Language
English is used as the formal language in mathematics, science (MIPA) and computer lessons. The objective is to enable students to keep abreast with the latest advancement in those subjects-and be prepared to communicate effectively in international environments.

In certain subjects such as Indonesian language and literature, history, geography, religion and social sciences, the formal language used is Indonesian, whereby to enable them to appreciate the nation's respected values.

3. In certain subjects students of SEMESTA Bilingual Boarding School Schools will be taught by native speaker with a wealth experience. The teachers are professionals with a mastery of not just over the subject taught but also the pedagogic aspects of them. Occasionally we will hold seminars and refreshing courses for our teachers whereby to step up their competence and widen their horizons.

4. Education and training
Our education and training programs consist of three aspects:

  1. Individual Training
  2. Development of students' interest and talents
  3. Training with parents' participation

4.      Text Books
In addition to local books, the books will be used at our school are the ones with high standards which Pasiad school have been using for years in all over the world.

6. Outstanding Students
The school motivates students to always perform their best. Scholarship are awarded to those who make outstanding achievements at national and international contests.
